/// Who We Are

Panther Securities PLC (AIM: PNS) is an AIM-quoted UK property investment company with a diversified portfolio of approximately 900 units across circa 120 buildings throughout mainland Britain.

We are an entrepreneurial and opportunistic property investor focused on generating sustainable rental income, enhancing asset value through active management and acquisitions, and building long-term shareholder value through disciplined investment and strategic growth.

/// About the Group

Panther Securities PLC is a long-established property investment company with a heritage dating back to 1934, when the Company first became publicly listed. The Group has been quoted on AIM since 2013, having previously been fully listed and included within the FTSE Fledgling Index.

Today, the Group owns and manages a diversified portfolio of approximately 900 property units across circa 120 buildings throughout mainland United Kingdom, with a property portfolio valued in excess of £180 million. The portfolio is predominantly focused on commercial property, including retail, industrial and office assets, alongside a substantial residential portfolio in a number of town centre locations.

Panther is a generalist and entrepreneurial property investor, taking a flexible approach to investment opportunities across sectors and geographies throughout the UK. Rather than specialising in a single market segment, the Group assesses each opportunity on its individual merits, enabling it to respond dynamically to changing market conditions and identify value where others may overlook it.

The majority of the Group’s property management and lettings activities are undertaken in-house, enabling close control of assets, strong tenant relationships and proactive day-to-day management across the portfolio. This active management approach supports sustainable rental income, enhances asset value and helps drive long-term shareholder returns.

/// Strategic Objective

The Group’s principal objective is to maximise long-term shareholder returns through growth in net asset value and dividends, supported by recurring rental income and selective capital appreciation.

Its strategy is based on:

  • maintaining a diversified portfolio by geography, sector and tenant exposure;
  • acquiring assets where management believes value can be enhanced;
  • in-house asset management to improve rents, occupancy and asset quality;
  • recycling capital through disposals where value has been realised;
  • maintaining prudent gearing and strong banking relationships; and
  • preserving financial flexibility to take advantage of market opportunities.

We at Panther believe this disciplined and opportunistic approach has served shareholders well over many market cycles.

+8% yield

We actively seek high‑yield opportunities — look for properties delivering yields of around plus 8%, often in sub–£5 million deals (but occasionally larger – we also have the ability to act with joint venture partners).

We acquire, own & manage commercial property — mainly in sectors like secondary retail, industrial units, offices, plus some residential flats in town centres.

  • We maintain in‑house management — most letting, tenant relations, and property management is handled internally by our compact, experienced team.

  • We offer sale & leaseback and corporate rescue options — working with SMEs to enable refinancing, property-backed acquisitions, even investing equity or buying distressed debt.

  • We generate sustainable rental income — our goal is to maximise long‑term shareholder value and dividends through steady rent returns.

  • We diversify geographically and by property type — their portfolio spans from Scotland to southern England, across different property sectors to reduce market risk.

/// Our History

1934

The company was originally incorporated as a public company called Levers Optical Company Ltd in 1934 as a manufacturer of spectacle frames and lenses, based in Mount Pleasant, off the Grays Inn Road in Central London.

1972

In 1972 Andrew Perloff, a commercial property agent at the time, together with his associates, acquired control of Levers Optical.

1980

The company continued to operate as an optical business and also
as a property investment business until 1980, when the optical business was sold so that the company could concentrate on property investment and development.  The group retained the Mount Pleasant building and changed the company’s name to Panther Securities Ltd.

1982

The Company was re-registered as a public limited company becoming Panther Securities PLC. The company has expanded by purchasing individual properties, property portfolios and by taking over small property companies.

1994

Panther Securities PLC achieved a full listing so that its shares were traded on the London Stock Exchange.

2004

The Mount Pleasant property was sold for £8.8m.

2009

Panther Securities PLC relocated to Deneway House, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

2013

Panther Securities PLC ceased being fully listed on the London Stock Exchange and was admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market (“AIM”).  The company’s Board decided that the regulation environment of AIM was more suitable than that required under the London Stock Exchange.

Present

Panther Securities PLC to this day continues to operate as a successful property investment company being quoted on AIM.

/// Our Strategy

Strategic, opportunistic, entrepreneurial.

In more than five decades in the property sector, I have always believed successful investment requires a balance of long-term strategic thinking, the willingness to act opportunistically when markets present value, and an entrepreneurial mindset that allows you to move decisively.
